Subsidy for Marriage of Poor Daughters of Backward Class

Under this scheme, the maximum income limit for persons residing in rural area is Rs. 46080.00 per annum and Rs. 56460.00 per annum for residents living in urban areas. Applicant is benefited by Rs. 20000.00 for marriage grant. Top priority is given in granting of subsidy for the marriage of destitute widows , disables, landless and suffered by Natural disaster Daughter.

Income certificate is not required for the applicants receiving old age pension, widow pension and Disable Pension.
Age of the applicant’s daughter should be 18 years and bridgegroom age should be more than 21 years on the date of marriage.
The applicant should belongs to backward caste (excluding minority backward class).
Application of marriage is mandatory in the same financial year.
